Job summary

Interior Exterior Building Supply is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Pensacola, FL to lead the warehouse and delivery operations with a hands-on approach. The role requires running the team, ensuring accuracy in order pulling, loading, staging, and on-time delivery while maintaining safety and efficiency on the floor.

You will oversee Drivers, Helpers, Warehouse Laborers, and Forklift Operators, coordinating with Branch Management, Safety, HR, and customers to keep operations moving smoothly.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Experience managing a team in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Working knowledge of DOT requirements and electronic driving logs (ELDs).
  • Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to identify equipment issues and communicate with mechanics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all warehouse and operations employees, including Drivers, Helpers, Warehouse Laborers, and Forklift Operators.
  • Direct the daily warehouse and delivery operation to ensure orders are pulled, loaded, staged, and delivered accurately and on time.
  • Manage inventory, stocking, product organization, reordering, and overall warehouse efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, productive, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Ensure trucks, forklifts, equipment, and the facility are properly maintained and operational.
  • Identify equipment or maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with mechanics and vendors.
  • Lead safety efforts at the branch, including new-hire safety orientation and monthly safety meetings.
  • Respond to employee accidents, injuries, and other incidents and ensure proper reporting, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the branch and the Safety Director.
  • Ensure drivers and operations employees follow applicable DOT and company requirements.
  • Work closely with Human Resources on hiring, onboarding, training, corrective action, terminations, and other personnel matters.
  • Hold employees accountable for attendance, performance, safety, productivity, and following company procedures.
  • Train, coach, develop, and motivate employees to build a strong, dependable operations team.
  • Partner with Branch Management and other departments to resolve customer and operational issues.
  • Help identify ways to improve productivity, reduce errors, control costs, and improve the overall customer experience.

Interior Exterior Building Supply, a leading commercial and residential building material supplier throughout the Southeast, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse and delivery operations at our Pensacola , FL location .

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a warehouse, manage people, maintain accountability, and keep a busy operation running safely and efficiently. You’ll oversee our drivers, helpers, warehouse team, and forklift operators while working closely with Branch Management, Safety, Human Resources, and our customers to keep the operation moving.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
