Warehouse Manager

Novato, CA Pay Range: $70,304 - $90,000 per year + potential bonus opportunities Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and performance

Peter Levi Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics coordination, and warehouse personnel across multiple locations. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and strong team performance in support of our operations. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can manage fast-paced operations, improve processes, hold teams accountable, and support company growth through strong operational leadership. What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including supervisors, leads, and warehouse associates
• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, staging, returns, and material distribution
• Establish staffing schedules, productivity expectations, and operational priorities
• Coach, train, and develop warehouse team members
• Support hiring, performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee development
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA/Cal-OSHA requirements
• Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy resolution
• Coordinate vendor deliveries, logistics, and material movement between locations
• Improve warehouse organization, workflows, and operational efficiency
• Monitor KPI's related to safety, labor efficiency, productivity, and inventory accuracy
• Oversee warehouse systems and inventory software
• Support field operations by ensuring timely material staging and distribution
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit readiness
• Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience required
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience required
• Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Construction, or Service industry preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience managing inventory systems and warehouse operations
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Commitment to safety, accountability, and operational excellence
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the workday
• Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures
• Ability to safely inspect warehouse operations and loading activities
• Ability to work overtime or weekends as business needs require
