Job summary

NYCRUNS, a Brooklyn-based race organizer, seeks a Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory, vehicle packing, rentals, and event logistics across ~24 annual events.

You will lead warehouse staff, coordinate with the Operations Team, and contribute to Run of Show and Event Plans, ensuring smooth operations and on-time delivery at each race.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of warehouse management and logistics experience.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in the endurance event industry.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations including inventory management and purchasing.
• Oversee packing/unpacking of NYCRUNS owned and rental vehicles for each event.
• Coordinate vehicle rentals and parking arrangements for all events.
• Manage vehicle maintenance schedules for all NYCRUNS owned vehicles.
• Collaborate on Run of Show, Packing List, and Event Plan; communicate with Event Team.
• Oversee and manage warehouse staff.
• Work collaboratively on developing new events.
• Assist with other projects as needed.

NYCRUNS is currentlyseekinga dynamic and experiencedindividualto join our team asWarehouse Manager. TheWarehouse Manager willbeakey member of theOperationsTeamwhichhandlesthe planning and executionofapproximately two-dozenNYCRUNS eventsannually, including the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all warehouse operations including inventory management and purchasing
• Oversee the packing and unpacking of all NYCRUNS owned and rental vehicles for each event
• Coordinate vehicle rentals and parking arrangements for all events
• Manage vehicle maintenance schedules for all NYCRUNS owned vehicles
• Collaborate with theOperationsTeamin thedevelopment of key documentsincludingthe Run of Show, PackingList,and Event Plan.Effectively communicate event plans and updates with theEventTeam
• Oversee and manage warehouse staff
• Work collaboratively on the development of new events
• Assistwith other projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management and logistics required
• 3-5 years of professional experience in the endurance event industryrequired
• Ability to multitask across projectswith outstanding communication skills
• Ability to work weekendeventsand toparticipatein evening meetings, asrequired
• Mandatory attendance at 90% of races
• Ability to travel for events,client meetings, and site visits
• Self-driven with an ability to prioritize, create timelines and hold yourself accountable
• Valid driver's license and the ability to drive a26' truck. CDL preferred.
• Valid Class 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 Forklift Counterbalance & Rough Terrain Certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Bachelor's Degreerequired;Master's Degreepreferred

DETAILS

This is a full-time position. This position is hybrid remote/on-site with weekly scheduled office hours.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Thecompensation amount for this role is targeted at$70,000 to $90,000.Final offer amounts will bedeterminedby multiple factors including your experience andexpertiseand may vary from the amount listed above.
