Job summary

The New York Road Runners is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support warehouse operations at events in New York. Responsibilities include assisting with equipment packing and ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar role, communicate professionally, and be adaptable to a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

A high school diploma is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of aggregated experience in a comparable position or role.
• Familiarity with types of equipment utilized in outdoor event environments.
• Valid, clean driver's license; commercial driver's license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment packing, load-in and load-out operations for NYRR events.

About The Position

This position will work in direct support of the warehouse operations at NYRR events, and occasionally as needed within warehouse operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Meticulous attention to detail in operating in a safe and efficient manner.
• Working knowledge of heavy machinery operations is a plus.
• Assist with equipment packing, load‑in and load‑out operations for NYRR events.

Experience

• 1 year of aggregated experience in a comparable position or role.
• Familiarity with types of equipment utilized in outdoor event environments.

Job Requirements

• High School or equivalent level of education preferred.

Skills And Attributes

• Professional communication skills, Bilingual Spanish fluency a plus.
• Adaptable to a flexible schedule; must be able to work nights and weekends as needed in support of NYRR events.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of organization.
• Ability to work autonomously on tasks assigned without direct supervision.

Other Requirements

• Valid, clean driver's license; commercial driver's license preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience preferred along with the ability to acquire certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Hourly Rate: $22.00
