Qualifications

• 10+ years in warehouse, production, or recycling facility management.

• Experience managing cost and P&L a plus.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Data reporting experience with ERP/WMS or similar systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Description

The Warehouse Manager oversee all warehouse operations within a CheckSammy Zero Point Facility. This position ensures the facility operates efficiently, safely, and in full alignment with CheckSammy’s sustainability goals and operational standards. The Warehouse Manager will lead a team responsible for sorting, baling, recycling, and material movement while maintaining a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1. Maintain and enforce safety and security guidelines, as established by CheckSammy, in full compliance with OSHA standards.
• 2. Drive morale, efficiency, speed, and accuracy on the sorting lines and material processing areas.
• 3. Enforce systems, processes, and procedures as established by CheckSammy for recycling, waste diversion, and reporting.
• 4. Report tracked metrics to senior management staff on a regular basis, including throughput, cost, diversion rates, and operational efficiency.
• 5. Assist with driving and maintaining a productive, positive, and safety-first work culture across the facility.
• 6. Oversee daily warehouse activities, including sorting, baling, loading/unloading, equipment operation, and material staging.
• 7. Collaborate with corporate Operations, Technology, Sales and Sustainability teams to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with environmental targets.
• 8. Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for warehouse employees.
• 9. Monitor inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment; coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
• 10. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
• 11. Manage cost using P&L and other cost metrics and measures.
• 12. Perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements

EDUCATION / TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

1. 10+ years of warehouse, production, or recycling facility management experience required. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience as a warehouse manager.
2. Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and warehouse safety practices.
3. Experience in recycling, waste management, or sustainability-focused operations strongly preferred.
4. Experience managing cost and P&L a plus.
5. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams.
6. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
7. Proficient with data reporting and basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, ERP/WMS tools).
8. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
