Job summary

Conklin Metal Industries in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our four-person warehouse team and own daily operations. You’ll drive safety, accuracy, and productivity while developing your staff and improving processes.

Bring hands-on leadership, a strong understanding of ERP/inventory systems, and the ability to coordinate receiving, inventory, picking, shipping, and storage. Monday–Friday schedule with some early/late shifts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of warehouse leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Experience in industrial distribution preferred; HVAC or building materials experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to coach employees, set expectations, and hold people accountable.
• High school diploma or GED; additional education is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/inventory systems.

• Develop and maintain efficient processes for product handling, inventory, shipping, and storage.
• Identify problems and take ownership of finding solutions.
• Partner with branch leadership to make improvements that support employees and customers.
• Maintain a safe working environment for your team.
• Reinforce company safety standards and proper material‑handling procedures.
• Address safety concerns quickly and consistently.
• Lead by example and create a culture where everyone takes responsibility for working safely.

What You'll Own

Lead Your Team

• Lead, coach, and support a team of four warehouse employees

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has warehouse experience AND knows how to lead people.

• 3-5 years of warehouse leadership, supervisory, or management experience
• Experience in industrial distribution preferred; HVAC or building materials experience is a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to coach employees, set expectations, and hold people accountable
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and ERP/inventory systems
• Hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside the team when needed
• High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus
• Ability to work a typical 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday-Friday schedule, with flexibility between 6:00 AM-6:00 PM when operational needs require it
