Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse and yard operations, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency. You will implement strong communication between field teams and management, manage material custody, and optimize processes for productivity on high-profile projects.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years in construction-support operations, and knowledge of construction equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years in construction support operation and knowledge of construction equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations.
  • Develop channels of communication between field management and stakeholders.
  • Create chain of custody for all material entering the warehouse.
  • Ensure material transfers from storage to production are efficient and accurate.
  • Refine warehouse processes to boost productivity and reduce waste.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory control.
  • Oversee receivers handling incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when needed.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics to replace damaged material.
  • Ensure safe operation of equipment and vehicles.
  • Support fleet services for vehicle preparation for sale.

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and appearance of warehouse and yard locations in support of our regional goals

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Maintain safe work environment through adherence to Rosendin safety regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement lines of communication and tracking between field management ensuring that the Company is providing first class quality and service to our internal and external customers
  • Confirm that a chain of custody is created for all material entering our warehouse
  • Ensure material is transferred efficiently and accurately from storage to our production team
  • Manage and refine warehouse process to increase productivity and reduce waste
  • Manage and assist with cycle counts and inventory control
  • Manage receivers handling incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when necessary
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics staff to replace material damaged during transportation
  • Ensure the safe operation of Rosendin equipment and vehicles
  • Assist fleet services to prepare vehicles for sale
  • Work with a team to maintain a clean and tidy work area to ensure a safe working environment

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Proficient understanding of the requirements of material handling in a warehouse setting
  • Ability to operate warehouse
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficient in using a tablet to enter data
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
  • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
WHAT YOU BRING TO US
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years in construction support operation and knowledge of construction equipment and materials
  • Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience

WORKING CONDITIONS:

General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning

Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
