Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Drive inventory accuracy of raw and finished goods while meeting customer expectations through high level delivery. Direct staffing to exceed KPI’s, utilizing active problem solving to eliminate all gaps within warehouse processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure the safety of each warehouse employee through the utilization of harnesses, forklifts, scissor lift, etc.
  • Provide problem solving solutions to opportunities that arise with Safety/Quality/Delivery/Inventory/Productivity.
  • Drive performance by collaborating with production and customer service departments in order to achieve a 95% on time delivery.
  • Supervise the receiving and storing of material, equipment, merchandise, and supplies while maintaining a cycle count accuracy of 98%.
  • Provide report out information regarding KPI’s to upper management via email daily.
  • Ensure inspections of incoming material are performed for supplier quality compliance.
  • Direct the planning and assignment of work for the most efficient use of personnel and equipment.
  • Drive expectations through actively engaging, coaching, and training of warehouse employees.
  • Develop and implement work methods, authorize overtime, and control costs.
  • Communicate with Human Resources to address departmental needs for labor.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff.
  • Responsible to ensure that SOPs are being followed accurately
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management
  • 2 years supervisory or lead experience.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • PC Proficient using Microsoft Office packages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years warehouse experience preferred.

Physical/Mental Demands:

While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk, and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
