Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking an In-Store Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations at the Greenville, AL store. You will coordinate receiving, staging, packing, and shipping, ensuring accuracy and timely processing while maintaining safety and organization.

You will supervise cycle counts, label stock, operate forklifts, and support a team in a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of proper safety measures in warehousing.
• Ability to manually move and lift 50lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read orders and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Sort and place materials on racks by size, type, or code.
• Complete inventory paperwork and shipping confirmations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy at all times.
• Label orders and back stock clearly.
• Participate in cycle counting.
• Load and unload customer vehicles and secure paperwork.
• Process incoming freight in a timely manner.
• Operate equipment including forklifts to move inventory.
• Inspect equipment and maintain good working order.
• Record product received and distributed.
• Maintain overall warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Enter records into computer.
• Other duties as assigned.

Company Description

The In-Store Warehouse Manager is responsible for:

• Helping oversee the warehouse at the store itself.
• Preparing packing and shipping documents.
• Picking and staging outbound shipments.
• Ensuring inbound & outbound shipments are accurate & damage-free.
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

They must also have the ability to manually move and lift 50 to 100 lb. boxes of tile on a regular basis and have the flexibility to work nights and weekends within a team rotation.

Job Description

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping order, or requisition to assemble customer orders from stock and place order on pallet or shelves.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete all paperwork pertaining to inventory, which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check-off, and UPS.
• Ensure complete accuracy of store inventory at all times.
• Label all orders and back stock clearly.
• Participate in the cycle counting program.
• Load and unload customer vehicles; ensure proper paperwork is completed and signed off by the customer after loading of product.
• Process incoming freight trucks in a timely manner.
• Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, to move inventory.
• Inspect equipment to maintain good working order.
• Record amounts of product received and distributed.
• Accountable for overall cleanliness/organization of the warehouse.
• Enter records into computer.
• Other duties as assigned.
