Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Greenville, SC. The role involves reading orders, assembling items from stock, and placing them on pallets or shelves. You will sort materials, process inventory paperwork, and ensure accuracy while labeling back stock clearly.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading goods, operating forklifts safely, participating in cycle counts, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong organizational and safety-focused mindset.
• Basic math and computer skills for paperwork and inventory.
• Ability to manually move and lift 50–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read orders and assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves.
• Sort and place materials by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete inventory paperwork including shipping/receiving confirmations and POs.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and label orders/back stock clearly.
• Participate in cycle counting and process incoming freight.
• Load/unload customer vehicles and obtain proper paperwork.
• Operate equipment including forklifts and inspect for safe operation.
• Enter records into computer and maintain cleanliness/organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping order, or requisition to assemble customer orders from stock and place order on pallet or shelves.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete all paperwork pertaining to inventory, which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check-off, and UPS.
• Ensure complete accuracy of store inventory at all times.
• Label all orders and back stock clearly.
• Participate in the cycle counting program.
• Load and unload customer vehicles; ensure proper paperwork is completed and signed off by the customer after loading of product.
• Process incoming freight trucks in a timely manner.
• Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, to move inventory.
• Inspect equipment to maintain good working order.
• Record amounts of product received and distributed.
• Accountable for overall cleanliness/organization of the warehouse.
• Enter records into computer.
• Other duties as assigned.
