We are looking for a Warehouse Manager for our South Chesterfield, VA location.
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and developing warehouse operations in a project-based, Engineer-to-Order manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for safety, inventory accuracy, material flow, space utilization and process development with direct involvement on the warehouse floor. This position functions semi-autonomously and directly supervises 7 employees. This position will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
The ideal candidate has experience building or re‑building warehouse processes, managing mixed inventory types (project materials, stocked parts, floor staging) and operating effectively in environments with ERP/MRP complexity, frequent changes and tight project timelines.
