Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Marianna, FL distribution center. You will perform preventive maintenance, handle emergency repairs, and troubleshoot conveyors, electrical/controls systems, and material handling equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires PLC knowledge, electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to work overtime as needed. A strong safety mindset and clear communication with teammates and leadership are essential to minimize

Qualifications

Electronic technology coursework or certification with 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, or 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
Industrial electrical experience with 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking.
Clear communication of technical issues to leadership.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays.
Customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., lift trucks, conveyors, electrical/controls systems).
Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic problems in equipment, networks, PLCs, and drives.
Diagnose using drawings and diagnostic tools (multi-meter, laptop).
Operate material handling equipment and other powered equipment.
Maintain organized work area and promote safety in the maintenance department.
