Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle basic repairs and upkeep of warehouse equipment as directed by the Operations Supervisor, Manager, or General Manager.

The role involves evaluating mechanical and electrical failures, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring production machinery operates per production needs and quality standards. You will also set up and adjust equipment, coordinate with vendors when needed, and support safety and handling teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 4–6 years of related experience.
• Self-starter with can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Able to work under general supervision in varying facility conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mechanical and electrical failures to determine corrective action.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair production equipment as needed.
• Operate machinery and inspect finished products for quality.
• Set up, adjust process variables, diagnose, and shut down equipment per schedule.
• Notify manager of repair lists and coordinate for items that cannot be repaired.
• Maintain tools and support safety program compliance.
• Assist packers and material handling staff.
