Job summary

The Maintenance Worker position at Buckhead Meat New Jersey (Division of Buckhead Meat Co) is seeking a skilled technician to ensure warehouse equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance, fire inspections, and simple electrical/plumbing tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, issuing POs and work orders, and performing light trailer maintenance. Strong reading/writing English and HS diploma required; forklift operation experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• 10 years of technical experience in mechanics & electronics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep up to date on all maintenance records for warehouse equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance for chargers, batteries and power equipment on schedule.
• Issue POs for parts ordered on approval per management.
• Issue work orders for all work performed.
• Perform light maintenance on trailers including replacing lights and repairs to interior walls and floors.
• Perform/assist in general maintenance of the building and grounds.
• Perform monthly fire and sprinkler inspections.
