Job summary

Grocery Outlet Inc. is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to keep the warehouse and supporting systems running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and support equipment installations.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and maintain detailed records while adhering to OSHA safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse, industrial, or facility maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment and facility systems to maximize operational performance and equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment, including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, hand jacks, battery charging systems, conveyors, and related warehouse equipment.
• Maintain and repair company-owned vehicles and facility support equipment as assigned.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical failures.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and repair histories for all equipment and assets.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
• Perform general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, fabrication, painting, and minor construction projects.
• Repair facility damage and address building deficiencies to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Execute preventative maintenance schedules for all facility and warehouse equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures or facility issues.
• Recommend repairs, replacements, or upgrades based on equipment condition and operational needs.
• Maintain compliance with all OSHA, company safety policies, and operational procedures.
• Assist with lockout/tagout procedures and ensure safe work practices are followed.
