Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Hagerstown, Maryland to service warehousing equipment in a clean, safe environment and support a strong supply chain culture.

The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career growth within a national leader in logistics. You will perform preventive maintenance, electrical/mechanical repairs, and forklift work with emphasis on safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8–10 years plant/warehouse maintenance experience, including electrical and mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
• Ability to make quick, reliable decisions balancing customer and Ryder needs.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment required.
• Equipment certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting on warehousing equipment independently and effectively.
• Maintains plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum where applicable.
• Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, ordering, and plant reporting systems.
• Performs routine forklift repairs and battery maintenance.
• Provides training on safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment when required.
• Other duties as assigned; overtime as needed.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $45.00 per hour
• Schedule: Thursday-Saturday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, rotating every other Wednesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and trouble-shooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner
• Maintains and trouble-shoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable
• Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems
• Performs routine forklift repairs
• Maintains batteries and related equipment
• Perfoms routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs
• If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
