Ryder is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk Associate in Hagerstown, Maryland — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Warehouse associates work with Computer systems (SAP, WMS, MS Office) to support inbound/outbound processes. The role includes a third shift (Thu-Sat 7:00 pm–7:00 am) with every other Wednesday 7:00 pm–7:00 am and a $500 sign-on bonus paid in two installments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of experience with SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Self-driven, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Check truck drivers in and out.
• Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity.
• Verify accuracy of shipping/receiving documentation; coordinate with inventory.
• Assist in appointment scheduling and update reports.
• Communicate with customers and support their needs.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $23.45 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.50 per hour when assigned to third shift
• Sign-on bonus: $500 bonus paid in two installments (50% after 30 days, 50% after 90 days)
• Schedule: Third Shift (D) Thursday-Saturday 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, every other Wednesday 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years or more experience in SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to:
• Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Multi-task, be highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Work independently and as a member of a team
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Excellent PC skills in MS Office (intermediate level)
• SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge (intermediate level)
• Safety Sensitive Position. Non-Regulated Tech. Depending on location, may be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified

• Verify accuracy of all shipping/receiving documentation. Partner with the inventory department to resolve any issues
• Assist in appointment scheduling as needed

• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
• Perform other duties as assigned
