You will perform routine PMs, manage parts, and may train colleagues on safety and efficiency. This regular-full-time position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of plant/warehouse maintenance experience.
• Electrical and mechanical repair and troubleshooting experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Equipment certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting on warehousing equipment.
• Maintains plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air and vacuum.
• Manages shop maintenance, parts inventory, ordering and plant reporting.
• Performs routine forklift repairs.
• Maintains batteries and related equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance and keeps repair records.
• Provides safety, quality, and efficiency training if required.
• Additional duties and overtime as needed.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $45.00 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift (B) Thursday-Saturday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, every other Wednesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including eletrical and mechanical repair and trouble-shooting
• Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
• Experience operating forklift equipment required
• Equipment certification may be required

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and trouble-shooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner
• Maintains and trouble-shoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable
• Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems
• Performs routine forklift repairs
• Maintains batteries and related equipment
• Perfoms routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs
• If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
