Job summary

Petco in Jurupa Valley, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper operation and upkeep of rolling stock, machinery and facility infrastructure. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance and inspections on powered industrial equipment and related systems, prioritizing safety.

The role requires 1–2 years’ warehousing/manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; some technical schooling preferred.
1–2 years of related maintenance experience in warehousing/manufacturing.
Experience repairing and maintaining powered industrial equipment and automation systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair rolling stock and material handling equipment (forklifts, conveyors, carousels).
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems (electricity, plumbing, roofing, painting).
Inspect equipment, document work and ensure safety procedures are followed.
Assist in inventories and may take on extra projects as needed.
