Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper operation of our facility’s rolling stock, machinery and equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and repair warehousing automation systems to support daily operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus a technical maintenance credential and at least 3 years of related experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in maintenance, especially on powered industrial equipment and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment and warehouse automation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, framing, roofing, painting).
• Inspect and repair rolling stock and equipment; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Assist in physical inventories and cooperate with vendors and contractors.
