Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our warehouses running smoothly. The role involves repairs, general electrical tasks, inspections, and keeping equipment in safe, efficient condition.

You will work Sunday to Thursday 2pm, lifting up to 100 lbs, in a fast-paced distribution environment, with a focus on safety, daily reporting, and collaboration with a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year maintenance or related experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying noise and temperatures.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities.
• Performs general electrical and/or repairs of equipment on company premises.
• Conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
• Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work.
• Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
• Performs daily safety checks.
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required.
• At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
