Job summary

Core-Mark is hiring an Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician to uphold warehouse facilities and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, read blueprints, and coordinate with production to resolve problems for consistent output.

Qualifications

• 6+ months maintenance and repair or related area.
• Maintenance and repair or related area.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• 2+ years preferred experience in electrical-mechanical equipment in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment and troubleshoot/repair Trailers, Restraint Devices, Dock leveling ramps, Dock Doors.
• Read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.
• Work with production to solve issues to maximize production efficiencies.
• Observe mechanical devices to locate trouble causes.
• Investigate failures and develop plans to eliminate repeat issues.
• Use CMMS to initiate parts orders and document hours on work orders.
• Weld, sheet metal work, and basic shop floor skills.
• Install/move/relocate machinery according to drawings.
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies.
• Pursue injury-free environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Associate degree in Electrical Mechanical Diagnostics, Service and/or Repair
