Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in a maintenance environment.
• Able to stand for the duration of the shift and work in outside climates.
• Familiar with basic hand tools.
• Must be comfortable working at different heights.
• Familiar with OSHA/NFPA standards.
• Maintains safe work practices, including PPE and LOTO.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic battery care and changes, including preventive maintenance and watering batteries.
• Minor preventive maintenance and upkeep on auxiliary equipment (balers, battery wash/charging stations, battery changer).
• Manage cardboard baler process (remove bales, operate baler, clear jams).
• Perform basic repairs to equipment and assemble/disassemble equipment with basic tools.
• Test and inspect safety harnesses; paint and minor building repairs; change light bulbs; basic plumbing.
• Complete and maintain maintenance logs and parts usage records; keep floors clean; general labor and housekeeping.
