POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems. Is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to achieve the site’s business goals and objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Hires, trains, and assigns Maintenance employees.
Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of Maintenance technicians.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Provides direction to other maintenance technicians on the SWD project priorities.
Coordinate the work schedule and work priorities of other maintenance personnel
Order parts and materials needed to maintain the operations and SWD facility
Identifies, vets, and negotiates with vendors
Identifies, prioritizes, plans, and sees projects to completion
Schedule and ensure completion of PM’s for all machinery and equipment in the facility.
Create and maintain LO/TO procedures for all applicable equipment.
Maintains documentation on operational equipment procedures.
Works closely with EH&S personnel.
Provides training to other technicians and employees on equipment operations and safety protocols.
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to use industrial equipment, carts, pallets, and all other equipment related to loading/shipment of garage doors, hardware, and other assemblies
Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
Excellent management and supervisory skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least five years of maintenance experience is required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Forklift license
