Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc seeks a skilled Warehouse Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment is safe and operating efficiently. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, recording, and coordinating parts and work orders.

The role supports building upkeep and performs scheduled fire and sprinkler inspections. The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED, read and write English, and extensive experience in mechanics and electronics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and write English.
• 10 years of technical experience in mechanics & electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date maintenance records for warehouse equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance for chargers, batteries and power equipment on schedule.
• Issue purchase orders for parts ordered with approval per management.
• Create and issue work orders for all performed tasks.
• Perform light maintenance on trailers (lights, interior walls and floors, light welding).
• General maintenance of building and grounds (racks, furniture, partitions, basic electrical/plumbing).
• Perform monthly fire inspections and sprinkler inspections.
