Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to perform routine and high-level maintenance across facility equipment. You will assist with material handling equipment and support with facility repairs, ensuring food safety and quality.

The role requires performing semi-skilled preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on various equipment, with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of single and three phase electric, AC, DC high/low voltages.
• 8+ years of experience in facility maintenance/preventative equipment maintenance.
• Food processing equipment experience is a plus.
• Vacuum packaging experience with RollStock and Repack is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical power and control systems, bearings, motors and other moving parts.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and determine root cause.
• Inspect equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Assemble, install, replace, repair and adjust equipment.
• Disassemble equipment and relocate/reassemble as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance team members.
