Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a warehouse equipment technician to maintain and repair Crown material handling gear, ensuring continuous operations across shifts. Overtime and shift differential may apply; compensation depends on experience and education.

The role requires basic electrical, plumbing, and drywall skills, plus logging repairs and following safety procedures. Maximo is a plus and prior maintenance experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred; additional mechanic training encouraged.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanic experience required.
• Knowledge of equipment repair and operation; ability to read and write legibly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair warehouse equipment to ensure day/night operations.
• Review equipment reports and log repairs per policy.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document PM logs.
• Follow safety guidelines (Lock Out/Tag Out, safety documentation).
• Maintain battery charging area; test circuits with a multimeter; 120V/480V knowledge.
• Use tools safely and manage tool area; assist with light maintenance tasks.
• Maximo experience is a plus.
