Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for warehouse maintenance and repair under supervision. You will help with battery/charger upkeep, electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks and safety equipment testing.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to read diagrams and follow instructions. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, using tools safely, keeping records, and working flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude required.
• Mathematical and documentation skills necessary
• May be expected to participate in HAZMAT responder training

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining batteries and chargers in working order. Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Work in the battery changing room to facilitate and manage the battery changing process.
• Capable of operating a forklift, pallet jack and battery changer.
• Clean and lubricate bearings, gears using basic tools.
• Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use tools carefully.
• Assist in testing safety equipment to ensure OHSA and standards.
