Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician I (Finance) to perform maintenance and repairs across the warehouse, including battery and charger upkeep, electrical and plumbing tasks, and carpentry. The role involves managing battery changes, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring safety equipment meets OSHA standards.

Hazmat training may be required. Required are a high school diploma or GED and the ability to perform routine maintenance on warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment including batteries, chargers, and machinery.
• Proficiency in mathematical calculations and documentation.
• Basic computer skills including email, internet searches, and data entry.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair batteries and chargers in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Facilitate and manage the battery changing process within the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and battery chargers as needed.
• Clean and lubricate machinery parts to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain tools and machinery in good working condition.
• Test safety equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Participate in HAZMAT responder training as required.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
