A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility.
Primary Job Functions
- Perform routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage
- Maintain the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
- Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
- Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Fabrication, welding, electrical, plumbing,
- Understanding recycling principles
- Operate various PIV sit-down center rider
- Demonstrate the Company’s core and growth values in the performance of all job functions.
- Follow all OSHA and Company established safety rules and follow procedures.
Secondary Job Functions
- Maintain reliable attendance.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup.
- Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
Education
Job Qualifications
- High School, Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 3+ Years Maintenance experience
