Job description

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility.

Primary Job Functions
  • Perform routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage
  • Maintain the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
  • Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
  • Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
  • Fabrication, welding, electrical, plumbing,
  • Understanding recycling principles
  • Operate various PIV sit-down center rider
  • Demonstrate the Company’s core and growth values in the performance of all job functions.
  • Follow all OSHA and Company established safety rules and follow procedures.
Secondary Job Functions
  • Maintain reliable attendance.
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup.
  • Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
