UFP Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Yakima, WA to maintain, repair, and install equipment and facilities under supervision. This entry-level role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety, and teamwork to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
The position requires a High School diploma or GED, basic reading of machine schematics, and a willingness to learn. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are needed. Benefits are offered per company policy.
Maintenance Technician maintains, repairs, and installs equipment, machinery, and facilities under direct supervision. Maintains a variety of records; participates in special projects; and performs a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. This is the entry-level position for the Maintenance Technician series.
Hourly/Salary Pay Range: $42,000 - $80,000 annually dependent on experience*

For sales positions: The percentage of incentive compensation that may be earned varies based on the customer account classification and is calculated based on collected gross profit.
For salaried bonus positions: Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
For hourly positions with incentive pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, and trip rate bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
