Job summary

Ace-endico Corp is hiring a Warehouse Lumper (DAY) to efficiently unload and load shipments by hand or with non-powered equipment. Responsibilities include sorting pallets, breaking down pallets by item number or destination, and restacking according to safety standards.

You will shrink-wrap pallets, maintain a clean work area, and follow all safety regulations. Collaboration with receiving and shipping teams and participation in meetings are required.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound freight manually or with non-powered equipment such as hand jacks and pallet jacks.
• Break down pallets and sort product by item number or destination.
• Re-stack freight in accordance with safety and operational standards.
• Shrink-wrap completed pallets and prepare them for storage or outbound shipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; sweep, trash removal, debris clearing.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures, policies, and food safety regulations.
• Communicate discrepancies, damages, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Assist with organizing and consolidating pallets to maximize warehouse space.
• Work with receiving and shipping teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Attend required team meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other warehouse-related tasks as assigned by supervisor or management.

Job Description – Warehouse Lumper (DAY)Classification: Non-ExemptReports to: Director of Day OperationsThe primary function of the Warehouse Lumper is to efficiently unload and load inbound and outbound shipments by hand or using non-powered equipment. Lumpers are responsible for sorting, stacking, palletizing, and ensuring the accurate handling of freight.The Warehouse Lumper must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. The work environment includes congested andhigh traffic areas, slippery floors, working alongside forklifts, single pallet jacks, electric walk behind jacks and handcarts. Walking and working on concrete flooring. Duties will require working in Varying climates.
