Job summary

A & Associates is seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Lumpers to support warehouse and dock operations in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on safe loading/unloading, sorting, stacking, palletizing shipments, and maintaining organized work areas with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions while working in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail when sorting, staging, and handling freight.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus but not required unless designated.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently.
• Move, sort, stack, and stage freight in designated areas.
• Palletize loose products and prepare shipments for storage, distribution, or transportation.
• Break down and deconsolidate incoming shipments as required.
• Assist with cross-dock operations by transferring products between inbound and outbound staging areas.
• Verify and organize freight according to destination or location.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report issues to supervisor.
• Safely use pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain basic records including load information and time logs.
• Keep dock and warehouse areas clean and hazard-free.
• Follow all safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to maintain efficiency.
