Hypertherm Associates seeks a Warehouse Logistics Specialist for 1st shift in Kent, WA. Starting at $23.00/hr, 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday. Role includes data entry, shipping/receiving, inventory staging, and material handling with opportunity for profit-sharing and a comprehensive benefits package.

Base salary range: $19.96–$33.28/hour. Benefits include reduced medical premiums from day 1, employee stock ownership, paid holidays, earned time, sick days, and college tuition program assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
• Familiarity with handheld electronic devices and computers.
• Strong time management skills.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Forklift certification required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload ocean containers and trucks using hand tools.
• Pick and stage inventory against sales orders and material requests.
• Handle shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering materials.
• Maintain stockroom organization.
• Perform data entry.
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare and package spares and machine orders for shipping and special assignments.

Compensation and Benefits

Job Duties

• Load and unload ocean containers and trucks using a crowbar, claw hammer and/or other hand tools
• Pick and stage inventory against sales orders, work orders and material requisitions
• Manual and clerical work related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies
• Maintaining stockroom
• Perform data entry
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments
• Prepare and package spares and machine orders for shipping and special assignments as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail
• Familiarity with handhelp electronic devices and computers
• Strong time management skills
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to be certified as a fork truck operator and willing to operate a forklift, must have certification for the role

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in a production environment or Associates Degree and 1 or more years of experience in a production environment
• Previous experience in a Lean Process enterprise
• Experience with Oracle or another compatible WMS
• Material Handling Equipment certified
