Job summary

Irby Utilities is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations, receiving, picking, packing and shipping materials, and maintaining inventory. The role may involve delivering materials as needed and working with RF devices to fulfill requests, while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates will operate forklifts, read and follow instructions, and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment. Night and weekend shifts may be required to support storm response efforts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near the work site.
• Use RF devices to fill orders and issue materials per requests.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies.
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Champion effective inventory management practices and maintain a safe work environment.
