Job summary

Base is seeking a Materials Associate to manage shipping, receiving, and material handling in our Bloomingdale warehouse. You will ensure accurate packing, paperwork, and inventory integrity while supporting production schedules.

This hands-on role requires lifting, forklift operation, and teamwork in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll participate in daily meetings and help maintain safe, organized work areas to deliver reliable hardware to customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or logistics preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs.
• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Comfortable with manual labor and physically demanding environment.
• Perform demanding physical tasks for extended periods, up to 12 hours a day
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, and twist for prolonged periods, up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Package, label, and ship products securely with ERP paperwork.
• Verify quantities and paperwork; generate bills of lading.
• Load/unload pallets and operate forklift or pallet jack.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and inventory records.
• Perform inbound receiving inspections and stock checks.
• Deliver local shipments using company vehicles.
• Participate in daily production meetings with updates.
