Job summary

Base is a startup energy company in Austin, TX seeking a Materials Associate to manage shipping, receiving, and material handling with a focus on accuracy and safety. You will work closely with the production team to meet schedules and maintain inventory integrity.

Responsibilities include securing and labeling shipments, verifying paperwork in ERP, operating forklifts, loading pallets, and performing inventory checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience in warehouse operations and material handling.
• Ability to lift 50–70 lbs.
• Ability to operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physically demanding environment; able to work up to 12 hours.
• Willingness to perform local deliveries and pickups if needed.

Responsibilities

• Package and ship products securely; verify paperwork using ERP.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and documentation.
• Inspect products for quality and packaging compliance.
• Monitor conveyors, load trailers, and prepare pallets.
• Assist in production or assembly when needed (training provided).
• Participate in daily production meetings with shipping/receiving updates.
