Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Erie, Huron, Ottawa is seeking a Materials Coordinator at the Bellevue Plant in Bellevue, OH. This hourly role focuses on implementing shipping and receiving protocols, maintaining raw parts availability, and supporting production through accurate part staging and inventory control.

You will verify parts, assist with PIT locations, run forklift operations, and perform quality audits while following safety procedures and promoting teamwork across the shift.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills; strong computer skills for reporting purposes.
• Ability to use physical exertion such as prolonged periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, reaching and climbing; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and proof of current auto insurance required every six months.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming parts, such as correct part numbers and quantities per packing slip; assist with assigning P.A.T.S. locations within the warehouse; assists with operating other computer systems including but not limited to EZ-ISM and Penske Portal.
• Ensure raw parts are available for production; communicate issues and concerns with Materials Supervisor.
• Scan and stage raw parts and ensure that correct parts are at the appropriate locations in a timely manner.
• Assist with daily inventory of raw parts.
• Complete quality audits of raw parts and finished assemblies during production.
• Maintain open communication with Forklift Drivers; operate forklift as necessary.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Attend safety trainings and follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and supervised work environment for all employees at all times.
• Promote positive teamwork among co-workers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
