Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to pass Will-Burt Fork Truck Operator Certification.
• Able to perform arithmetic with weights, volumes and distances.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders or follows instructions to determine materials to move.
• Loads/unloads materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Loads materials into vehicles and secures loads for transit.
• Conveys materials from storage to designated areas.
• Operates forklift and other material-handling equipment.
• Inspects warehouse and equipment for safety and efficiency.
