Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Warehouse Operations Coordinator to allocate orders, release work to the warehouse floor, and balance workflow to meet inbound and outbound truck turn times.

You will address shortages, communicate with customers, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 1 year warehouse experience) and proficiency with basic PC software, Americold systems, and Warehouse Management Systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or minimum 1 year of warehouse operations experience required.
• Proficiency with basic PC software and Americold systems required.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Ability to train users on relevant systems and troubleshoot system problems required.

Responsibilities

• Allocate orders and release work to the warehouse floor to balance workflow and optimize productivity.
• Resolve order product shortages and manage order cuts while communicating updates to customers.
• Prioritize tasks for Lift Truck Operators and Dock Supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure dock office utilizes inbound and outbound dock optimization functionality for each receipt and order.
• Run labor reports and review with Dock Supervisors and Office Manager to monitor performance.
• Review and update base priorities, work zone assignments, product code velocity zones, and pick locations in collaboration with Operations Manager.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and safety programs and troubleshoot systems issues as needed.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
