Job summary

BTS Hospitality, a San Diego–based catering and events company, seeks a full-time Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse team, manage inventory and the fleet, and ensure every event leaves the dock complete and checked in.

You will recruit and train staff, optimize schedules, enforce safety, and coordinate with operations to staff off-site events and large projects throughout peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse management experience; hospitality, catering or events strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, schedule and develop a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; you can coordinate across departments.
• Excellent Excel skills and comfort with inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the warehouse team, recruit, train, and manage staff and performance.
• Own inventory of equipment, china, linen, décor, dry goods and beverages; conduct regular counts.
• Manage the liquor cage, safety procedures, logs and training in line with Cal/OSHA.
• Coordinate with managers to staff off-site events and train event staff in warehouse procedures.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and schedule deliveries for daily events.
