Job summary

NEFCO Construction Supply LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah, seeks a Logistics Manager to oversee branch logistics, receiving, storage, inventory control, pick/pack, and route loading for delivery of products.

You will manage P&L, drive continuous improvement through metrics and training, coordinate with Customer Service, QA, and Inventory Control, monitor queues and reports, ensure safety, and uphold on-time delivery and accurate shipments.

Qualifications

Must have a track record of being a results-oriented person who has worked in industrial warehousing/distribution operations for 5+ years.
Effective communicator across all levels of the organization.
Ability to lead, coach, and mentor Supervisors, Associates, and Drivers to improve productivity.
Ability to establish priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
Detail-oriented with a hands-on, do-what-it-takes attitude.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Positive, hard-working attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

Manage P&L, expenses, quality, productivity, staffing, safety, capacity, and product flow.
Drive continuous improvement using metrics, training, and coaching.
Maintain open communications with operations personnel as needed.
Support Customer Service, Counter staff, QA/QC, and Inventory Control as needed.
Monitor branch review queue and respond to inquiries.
