Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring operational integrity across third-party warehouse facilities. This position is responsible for auditing storage conditions, inspecting outbound shipments, and verifying adherence to company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive

approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Audits
  • Conduct routine and ad hoc audits of third-party warehouses to ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory accuracy.
  • Verify compliance with safety protocols, cleanliness standards, and material segregation requirements.
  • Document findings and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Shipment Inspections
  • Inspect outbound shipments for accuracy, packaging integrity, labeling, and documentation compliance.
  • Confirm that finished goods meet quality standards and customer specifications prior to release.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies or non-conformances.
• Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain detailed records of audits, inspections, and compliance reports.
  • Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT), and contractual obligations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and insights.
• Communication & Coordination
  • Serve as the liaison between internal teams (e.g., logistics, quality, production) and third-party warehouse personnel.
  • Escalate issues to management and assist in developing action plans for resolution.
  • Provide training or guidance to warehouse partners on compliance expectations when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or compliance auditing.
• Familiarity with inventory systems, shipping documentation, and regulatory standards.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to off-site warehouse locations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems a plus.
