Job summary

T1 Energy is a Wilmer, Texas-based solar manufacturing company actively growing its domestic solar supply chain. We are hiring a Production Operator to drive the day-to-day work of the production line, ensuring safety and quality standards are met in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will monitor equipment, communicate with the Line Leader, perform material checks, assemble and inspect modules, and conduct basic testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read technical documents and manuals.
• Willing to work overtime and 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate production information to the Line Leader and fellow Operators
• Performs all duties in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner as instructed by the Line Leader
• Verifies that the correct material is being consumed at the production line according to the Build of Materials
• Identify and record acceptable and defective products
• Assembles, inspects, and cleans solar modules per work instructions
• Operate and conduct continuous monitoring of automated machinery
• Perform continuity testing using a meter
• Connect cables and wires to complete assemblies and installations
• Perform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions to ensure product quality
• Clean machines, tools, and equipment
• Other duties or tasks as assigned by leadership

Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. The Role

T1 Energy is looking to hire a Production Operator which will be responsible for driving and executing the day-to-day work of the production line while ensuring that quality and safety standards are met. Production Operators continuously monitor the performance and efficiency of production equipment and communicate with the Line Leader about any line issues. You will be required to work 12-hour shifts (4-3 / 3-4).
