Job summary

T1 Energy is seeking a senior facilities maintenance professional to lead maintenance activities in our Wilmer, Texas manufacturing plant. The role requires extensive experience in building construction, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, with a strong ability to interpret schematics and comply with federal, state, and local codes.

You will guide peers, evaluate conditions, support O&M and capital projects, and coordinate with external vendors to ensure safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• 7+ years of directly related experience in Facilities Maintenance, commercial Construction, or commercial/light industrial experiences.
• Expert knowledge of Building Construction, Electrical, Plumbing or Fire systems.
• Knowledge of engineering and design principles.
• Knowledge of environmental & life safety compliance regulations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local code requirements.
• Ability to interpret schematic diagrams, single line diagram, technical specifications, and equipment manuals.
• Ability to evaluate building or equipment condition and provide repair solutions or improvement recommendations to leadership.
• Ability to work overtime and respond to after-hour emergencies when necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of technology such as personal computers, Microsoft applications, and work management systems such as SAP.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment, which may involve exposure to various manufacturing conditions. Ability to work occasional extended hours or weekends as needed.

OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Been able to lift up to 75 pounds. Been able to communicate verbally efficiently. Sedentary work. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
