Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a reliable Warehouse Loader/Unloader to support the timely flow of clean and soiled garments and products. This on-site role includes loading/unloading, staging by route, and inventory handling with on-the-job training and a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• High school education and/or GED equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using US customary units.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload clean product from plant transport shuttle upon arrival.
• Sort and stage clean garments and facility service items by route and delivery day.
• Piece in garments or stockroom items to ensure inclusion with the appropriate route.
• Audit flag good carts and verify accuracy against load sheets.
• Identify and communicate route shortages to management.
• Load route trucks with garments and facility service items.
• Unload and sort mixed soiled garments and products by material type.
• Load soiled products onto the outbound shuttle for processing.
• Receive, label, and store incoming vendor deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.
