Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a Loader to move pallets, inspect trailers, and use RF devices to verify orders. The role requires standing and lifting throughout shifts, with training and benefits from day one. Location: York, PA, 1st shift, full-time.

Starting at $19/hr with potential to earn $25+/hr after training, the work includes safety-focused tasks, teamwork, and opportunities for career progression within ES3/ C&S family.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment such as sit down forklift/clamp truck is required.
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures.
• Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others.
• Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact our communities.
• Ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and/or electric pallet jacks to move pallets.
• Complete inspection of trailers before loading any product.
• Verify loading of orders by RF handhelds and/or voice headsets.
• Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers and secure properly to avoid damages.
• Perform equipment inspections and complete the appropriate forms.
• Occasionally lift boxes weighing 1–60 lbs or more and work on varying heights.

Position Overview

As a Loader, you will move pallets of merchandise from staging areas and load proper trailers. These jobs are an important part of our team and help sustain our safe and efficient daily operation.

Starting rate $19/hr with an earning potential of $25+/hr after training! Full Time, 1st shift available Schedule: Monday, Tuesday Friday & Saturday 7:00am - 5:30pm Location: 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406

• Utilizing forklifts and/or electric pallet jacks
• Completing inspection of trailers before loading any product
• Verifying loading of orders by RF handhelds and/or voice headsets
• Loading full pallets of merchandise into trailers & ensuring pallets are secured properly to avoid damages
• Performing equipment inspections & completion of appropriate form
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
