This makes sure the drivers have the product safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency for the day’s deliveries.Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday and Friday 5:30 pm until completeSalary: $21.41/hourMust be Electric Pallet Jack certified - REQUIREDESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred.Related Experience: A minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Must be Electric Pallet Jack certified - REQUIREDGood attention to detailAbility to read load diagramsBasic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.WORK ENVIRONMENTComfortable working in a multi-temperature indoor/outdoor environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees requiredCompensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds).
