Job summary

US Foods is hiring a Loader for night shifts to load outbound orders into designated trailers. You will ensure products are safely stowed, checked against load diagrams, and wrapped securely for transport. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of warehouse experience. Pallet jack use, basic math, and reliable collaboration with colleagues are expected.

Responsibilities

• Load outbound orders into designated trailers following procedures.
• Inspect trailer before loading for cleanliness and proper temperature.
• Ensure pallets are wrapped securely and header labels are correct.
• Verify stops and complete load diagram for each trailer.
• Follow safety practices and keep the dock area orderly.

Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.MAIN INGREDIENTSGreat Loaders are crucial to the US FOODS team and one of the important faces of our organization. Our loaders strive for integrity and reliability, while building trusting relationships with our team.Conduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds).
