This makes sure the drivers have the product safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency for the day’s deliveries.*Work Schedule:* *Sunday - Thursday and Friday 5:30 pm until complete**Salary: $21.41/hour* Must be Electric Pallet Jack certified - REQUIRED ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Conduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.* Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.* Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.* Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.* Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.QUALIFICATIONS **Education/Training:** High School Diploma or GED preferred. **Related Experience:** A minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred. **Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:*** Must be Electric Pallet Jack certified - REQUIRED* Good attention to detail* Ability to read load diagrams* Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).* Must be team oriented and able to get along with others. WORK ENVIRONMENTComfortable working in a multi-temperature indoor/outdoor environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $21.41/hour and $21.41/hour.
